They're almost transparent in appearance and have a bright and clean sound with greater sustain than any other classical trebles strings on the market. Unlike fluorocarbon strings, the Alchemia trebles are inherently expressive with excellent vibrato and have a great timbre variation when moving your picking hand from the sound holeĀ to the bridge. They're also very dynamic strings with projection proven to be bigger than fluorocarbon.
The matching basses in the Alchemia set are made starting with a nylon multifilament core wound with silver-plated copper which has a light treatment to defend against oxidisationĀ and corrosion.
