Elixir Nanoweb Nickel Wound 32 (.032") Bass Single String, Long Scale

Elixir Nanoweb Nickel Wound 32 (.032") Bass Single String, Long Scale

This is an Elixir Nanoweb nickel bass guitar single string. Gauge: .032".
Standard long scale: string measures 36.5" / 93cm from the ball end to the start of the taper.

This nickel-plated steel string provides full, rich, and balanced tone with a good balance of clarity and warmth. The Nanoweb coating is tonally transparent but adds a smooth, polished feel and reduces finger noise.

Elixir’s flagship coating seals the entire string inside an impermeable barrier which keeps outs all moisture, oils, and dirt - the stuff that usually kills strings. This means the strings can last up to 3x longer - well, that’s the official line, however we have evidence of Elixir strings lasting well over a year! After substantial playing, and towards the end of their stated life you may start to see some fraying of the coating around the high-impact areas (picking position) but that’s pretty much cosmetic and the strings will keep going, and going, and going… !
