The wound strings are made with Cobalt wire wrapped over a high-strength steel core from Paradigm which is then treated with Everlast tech. Tonally, Cobalt is punchy in the midrange, clear in the top, and loud! It also has a uniquely grippy, matte texture which is stubbornly playable.
The Paradigm core is made of Ernie Ballās premium wire which has been plasma-treated to remove imperfections. The stronger wire not only has enhanced break strength and stability, but also a tighter bass response.
The Tim Henson set uses the same gauge structure as Turbo Slinky for the optimum balance of feel from lead lines to riffs.
