Graph Tech String Saver Originals Saddles for Strat/Telecaster, 2-1/16" Spacing
The PS-8000-00 is a perfect upgrade or replacement set of saddles for your StratĀ® or TeleĀ® style guitar. Ā They have a centre intonation screw and a 2 1/16" string spacing. Ā Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster. Ā String Saver Originals are made entirely of our String Saver material and give you a more balanced tone than steel saddles. Ā On first listen, some people believe that the top end has gone away. Ā All that is missing is the 2KHz spike; Ā what's added opens up a whole new world of sonic possibilities! Ā Once your ears get used to the new sound, you will start to hear all the added harmonic content that String Saver Saddles reveal.

Graph Tech String-Saver Saddles. Black finish. As the string vibrates against the String-Saver material, a thin Teflon film is created. Teflon eases the grip on the string and microscopically spreads the stress over a greater area. For string breakage reduction the difference can be dramatic.
