Rotosoundās NEXUS coating is a clear polymer, polycoat dressing which is applied to the phosphor bronze wrap wire before itās wound onto the core. This pre-coated wire repels all contaminants and gunk buildup which would otherwise harm your strings. This coating also benefits from a smooth, slick feel which makes playing really easy and enjoyable.
Furthermore, combined with platinum-plated plain strings the tone produced across the set is unique in itself providing a more balanced, and smooth midrange while retaining the clarity and fullness of the phosphor bronze underneath.
